I finally get the scouting and understand that clicking 10 of their plays improves my ability to counter them using it...but does anyone know by how much? If I forget to do it will I stand a 1%, 10%, 25% less chance of winning? Maybe my familiarity in that play rises by 1%???
I know, also, that there is not going to be an answer to that exactly but just wondered your opinions? Just didn't wanna spend the time clicking those boxes if the effect is near neglible - likewise if big impact I'll ensure I always do them!
I guess what's more important (I think), is simply spotting what they use a lot of and trying to counter it in terms of how I set up my off play etc. So if they use lots of HB plays, then I'll do...? [unfortunately I'm still at the stage of having no idea how to counter certain plays!]

I noticed today actually, dunno why today and not another time, that my teams knowledge when scouting offensive plays for the HB Dive is still literally the lowest it can be. As a play I scout most weeks (and have for 2 seasons now) due to the frequency teams use it, I'm surprised it hasn't risen at all.

I know it relates to intelligence and a few other factors, but id be interested in answers to the above as well.

Maybe the bigger affect is when you actually use it yourself. Glad I'm not alone though

If you have a lot of turnover season to season the knowledge of the play could actually decrease as the players may not know the play in question. Like you said tho there are a few factors in what can effect it.
