on his player page you can click the little button that says change position. It will let you change his position to anything you want and will give you the ratings of each. The problem with this is they will automatically begin the body morph into what is generally considered average for the position. So if you move a DT to DE he will lose weight in training camp and preseason trying to get to a DE body

Sad but true.

Okay, I know Weight Affects Speed. But I'm confused on something.

Is 100 'Universal' or 'By Position'?

In other words, I have a 100 Speed TE that Weighs 258 lbs. I convert him to WR, where he tries to drop to 188-202 (from the Weights on my Team). Will he still be 100 Speed, but now 'faster' as he Weighs less... or will his 'Speed' be adjust down since he's moving to a 'faster position', but the drop in Weight will help his 'New Speed' be faster than it would have been on him.

So like he's 100 Speed but heavy, he drops to 88 Speed but way lighter... essentially moving the exact same Distance over Time on the Field.

How does this work?

He won't lose weight that fast. The most I've seen is 11 lbs in a year but most of the time it's only a few lbs a season. His speed may dRop as he loses weight cause it does seem that 100 speed for a lineman isn't the same as a 100 speed tight end. I'm not sure the calculation on it but it's significant.antly different based on size.

if i remember what JDB has said in the past correctly speed is absolute a 100 speed player will have the same top speed no matter how heavy he is what gets affected by being heavier is acceleration, it takes longer for a heavier player to build up to full speed

also not sure how realistic the weight/speed vs footwork is in MFN
i.e. in real life it's easier for a 195 lb WR to change direction while running full speed than it is for a 260 lb TE (due to momentum) and also in real life the heavier a player is the more likely he is to have a knee or ankle injury when trying to turn at high speeds

Experience at the position.

Yeah but I thought that was gained through matches not just training camp

True, but your biggest one time bumps generally occur right after training camp.
