It's the pitts!

In my 74 team I have a star rookie called pitts. He's been very unhappy since I got him. He's been chosen as wr1 which I thought might make him happier bit no. He's even scored many tds etc but nothing. Any idea how I cam improve his happiness and also does it matter if he's unhappy?

It does not affect his play. The only thing it will affect is when you resign him, so until then, it doesn't matter if he is unhappy.

I had a player that was unhappy (and he was starting) but not playing at his "best position". I moved him to that position and let him start 2 games. He returned to neutral, I resigned him and moved him right back to the position I wanted him in.

If his contract is coming up for renewal and you want to resign him, try doing the above. Then you will have him for as long as you want and don't have to worry whether he's happy or not.

An unhappy player will still resign; livid will not.

Is this true in all cases, parsh? The ones I tried to sign, I believe, were only unhappy, not livid, and I was unable to sign them.

I've had unhappy players not willing to re-sign also. Like mwd65 said, just start them a couple games before you want to re-sign them and they'll be ok.

Must be some kind of range for unhappy players where they will re-sign while out of this range will not. i've had both, but never was able to get a 'very unhappy' to re-sign.

After plying him with 'All he can drink coke', 'All he can snort coke' and 'All he can eat jellied eels'....he's happy now!! :) Happy Days :)
