I just signed up, as this looks like the game I've looked for for years. I've played a ton of Football Manager (the soccer kind) and have looked for something similar and this looks like it.

However one thing puzzles me, that I can't seem to find the answer to. The 5 credits I got when I joined, is that the only thing I'm getting for free in this game? So if I want to play more than 1 season, I have to pay for credits?

I saw somewhere during all the tutorial videos and clicking around, something like just needing to have 5 credits in my account to be able to do stuff, but nothing about spending them. Also something about joining multiple leagues (which is not really in the question for me atm.)

It's no problem for me, but it might discourage people I could get to play if that's the case. I don't mind paying to have my own private league with people I enjoy playing with, but if it means they have to pay to play, it could mean they don't want to.

you get 5 credits every day so you can renew your league to keep playing it and also you can pay for credits to custom your teams and players and create a league

After you sign up for a team you get the credits you used reimbersed the next day. So you can either join another league with them or not. You can reup for the next year any day that your credits are full. So you don't have to really purchase credits ever unless you want to start your own league, rename players, customize your team or join more than one league in a day. Welcome to MFN! :)
