Can anyone explain why my last game shows that I ran only once on first downs in the box score stats....yet I seemed to run on first down quite a few times just in the first quarter...????

Also, why did I run so often on first down when my sliders are so low percentage wise for running. I recall setherick trying to explain this in Dec... something to do with probabilities not being same as the percentages....ratios etc...???

I think you may be reading the box score wrong, as it won't tell you how many times you ran on first down. Check the game log to see that. When it lists first downs, it has run, pass and penalty underneath. Those numbers represent how many times you made a first down, so I'm guessing you ran a ton on 1st down, but only got 1 first down via a running play.

Ah ****....thanks. I never ever realised that. I always thought it was how many 1st downs I’d got throughout the game broken down by what then happened with the down. How stupid. That’s far more understandable now as to why they list that!!!!!!
