I'm trying to remember the details for exactly when roster limits and salary cap are enforced. I can remember most of the roster limit enforcement:
  • The roster max of 60 (incl. 60 active) is enforced starting during the TC sim through the Week 1 Midweek sim.
  • The roster max of 53 (incl. 46 active) is enforced starting during the Week 1 game sim through...? When does this end -- after your last game or after the championship game?

As for the salary cap, I can't remember when it is enforced. Is it all the time? Or are their periods when it is not enforced like the roster limit, such as FA and Draft sims?

Any help is appreciated.

ETA: Also, when is the minimum roster limit (45? 46?) enforced? Same as for 60/53 or different?

While games are being played, you can sign more players and/or be over the salary cap during the midweek stages, but if you don't get that fixed for the game stage then the AI will make cuts for you. (You should get a warning to that effect after the midweek stage). One more point while we're talking about the AI messing with your roster, if you sign one player and cut another player on a game stage (because for some reason you missed the midweek to do that), the newly signed player will be added to your roster as an inactive player, so be sure you have 46 active players not including the one you cut. If you have fewer than 45 active players on a game stage, the AI will rebuild your depth chart.
