salary/bonus bars not moving when I try the jsid sheet!!

I can move them manually, but that messes up the jsid sheet way,and the wizard does not recognize the numbers it sees only the numbers you get when you slide both far left to get the signing bonus.
Help?

Not sure what might be happening. I use the spreadsheet to negotiate contracts too. I usually have to tab to the next field to see any changes in the sliders, or click outside of any of the fields.

It's worked well for me, although I haven't had to negotiate contracts for a little while. Hopefully I don't run into the same issue you're seeing.

grade school math is not that hard. :P

sign players manually. figure out lowest bonus they will accept and then make salary as low as possible

JSIDS from what ive read has been very broken for a few years, or at the very least breaks often enough to be a negligable and lazy-person resource.
It's sounds like a slam, but only because Ive assumed you have a 9th grade (US) math education.
Any offense is likely not me giving anyone the credit of "you should know this."

if a person really wants to abuse the system - roll with 74.99% bonus, add a hundred to the 1st yr baseline.
The fact that most players use the same lazy calculator is just another option for user manipulation.

I read some folks just make the final year base salary some obnoxious number + total bonus required divided by years of contract, knowing that the player will retire, be cut/be traded by that final year owed.
odds are very good the other player has the same info.
Abuse that info.
If you can't beat them, join them. if you can affect any impact as a user, i encourage you to do so.
