Hey what's up guys, I didnt want to post this in four different leagues so I'm just gonna put this here.
A lot of people dont know me, and never in a million years would I pretend im something special (even if I did win LC's) I just simply wanted to say good bye and thank you to the several people I enjoyed playing with, and I will miss being the punching bag in your league. Bryson, Bryno, Sloth, you know what's up. And then there are others that, given the chance to say face to face, I would love love love to say **** off. You are half the reason I am done.
The other reason I am done? To be honest, I find myself falling out of love with football more and more. Coming in here and doing the day to day ritual is becoming a chore. I deal with cocky and arrogant people who **** and moan 12 to 14 hours a day, and to come here to find more of it over the dumbest things? No thank you, I'm good. The only person who cares that you've won 80 LC's is you, dont pretend otherwise. Oh and hockey is a million times better anyways.
Setherick : we've never chatted, but your advice when I first started out was invaluable. There was tons of reading, but it was so worth it. I've always wanted to say thank you, I hope new people find the same value in your work.
Slick : do you have facebook? I will never forget my only LC game against you, which we've talked about before. I was never mad, in fact I laughed the whole way through the 4th quarter. I found you as a rival and a friend. I wish I could buy you a beer.
Bryson/Bryno/Sloth : If MFN had a commentary crew, these guys would be instant classic. I miss being in the NCAA group because it was a completely different world, even though we always knew who was going to win. I hear that it's not the same guy anymore though. I still tune into the podcasts from time to time and I wish I could catch up on the draft preview, and the draft day coverages.
If you are new, and enjoy this site, that is great and in no way am I trying to steer you away from that thought. The good experiences I have of this game are few and far in between. The best of luck to you in your ventures. I will finish out the remainder of the seasons that I have left (Anarchy, my bad) and I wish the best of luck to everyone.
