The way Ohio State played most of the first half, they should have buried Clemson. Instead they settled for too many short FG's, keeping Clemson in the game. Then once Clemson started to figure out the Ohio State defense and Wade got tossed for targeting, it was over. Just as well, as I figure Joe Burrow wanted to show Ohio State what they were missing out on and they would beat the Buckeyes handily.

Most people in Ohio will probably cry about the officiating as the main reason they lost, but it didn't sound like that on the radio (had to work, couldn't watch). Ohio State is now 0-4 all time against Clemson.

It was a SEC officiating crew, so yes, they will cry about them ..

Looks like the Tigers are going to win the NC again.

So, I saw the replay...
Ouch, that's gonna hurt for a while.
I'm with the OSU fans. That was a catch. SEC officials ****.

Still haven't seen highlights but that doesn't matter. Despite that, and despite their red zone struggles, Ohio State had the lead with less than 2 minutes to go and let Clemson rip down the field in 4 plays. Championship teams don't allow that to happen.

Sigh ..

I am a SEC guy and go back to work next week in Buckeye country. It should be a fun week. Hopefully, all the whining will be out of their system by then .. Lol

OMG, I don't want to hear any whining at work today. I am an Ohio State fan but I'm also a realist and don't usually make excuses for my team. Even the Tuck Rule game, if Gruden doesn't call a stretch run on 3rd and 1 and they get the first down instead, the Raiders run out the clock and Brady never fumbles, tucks, whatever.

Biggest Buckeye fan at work is one of those I expect to latch on to the bad calls and say that's why they lost. Instead of explaining that they just got beat, I'll save myself some breath and just say STFU. He is an annoying **** anyway.

I gotta say, as a former player, I feel the same as you guys. Idk why, but your sentiment over one bad call surprises me when I know it shouldn't.
I once had a pick-6 that was negated on an interference call. The following play, the offense tried to run the exact same play. I picked it off again. Negated by penalty again. On the third try, I missed everything. I missed the route, the ball, the tackle, everything. My sentiment has always been; I didn't make the play when it mattered. My family and friends though, still like to bring up the bad calls.
