It's not possible for a WR to make a reception out of bounds, this is more likely a render/keyframe error than him actually making the catch out of bounds.

Maybe the team found a NFL rule no one has heard of and took advantage of it

it worked for Packers = http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/packers-take-advantage-of-ridiculous-nfl-rule-to-magically-make-kickoff-go-out-of-bounds-092516

But if he caught the ball inbound and was all alone who tackled him? As soon as he caught the ball it was rule a catch, out of bounds and resulted in a first... all with no defender on him.. seems like a clear bug to me... if he caught and move little then we could say step out... but upon receiving it, he was ruled out of bounds right where he caught it, again he was wide open.

His own momentum carried him out of bounds, you could also make the argument that he stretched and caught the ball with his toes just inbounds and fell out of bounds after the catch.

Looked at it from zoom possible, clearly a bug. no one close to him

You don't have to be touched by a defender to be down if you go out of bounds, you are automatically down at the point you go out of bounds.

Make no sense what so ever, he caught the ball out of bounds. As I said it is plain to see as he caught it the whistle went off, he did not budged forward to say to he got out of bounds. if the frame was off he should have been inbounds, therefore a slight movement would be required....

Anyways I see it as a bug... Maybe you see it as normal, maybe others too...
But I am guessing if it happen others they might find it weird too.
