Not sure if this is a bug or not, but it was a little strange.

I was doing some scouting today and came across this odd thing. The HB Flare seems to be coming up twice. The diagram is the same for each play, but the play information is different.

Maybe there's a play with a similar name that is getting replaced...? Not sure.

well it looks like there is a short pass and medium pass of the HB Flare variety so i would think it is not a bug because there probably are instances where 1 play has both a short pass and medium pass or a medium pass and a long pass or a outside run and a inside run.

I'm curious since the diagram is the same, does that mean the QB will have a different progression for each play depending on whether it's the medium or short pass?

Not sure i would say Setherick or JDB could answer that question yet if i had to guess i would say the QB would target a different player on the short pass than the medium pass .

like for example he would target the TE on short pass to get a few yards so the next down they dont need alot of yards for another 1st down

Awhile Medium pass i would say the QB would target the WR on the far left or the WR next to that WR in that hopefully they would catch the football then be able to run out of bounds which far left one would run towards his left to the out of bounds awhile the WR next to him will run straight across the middle then run to the right out of bounds once he catches the football.

I would agree. It appears that the WR on the right has a slightly longer route on the medium pass. Maybe he's the first target.

well maybe your right yet i think if there was thread made for each pass either short pass , medium pass or long pass (btw looking at you (Setherick) and it would show the 1st target for those passes it would clean up the confusion
