2 QBs starters ?

By OmahaNYG

For the second game in a row, I played against a team that had more or less the same number of throws for both QBs, without injuries, and both played well...

So I'm wondering, there is a "glitch" with QB fatigue or this is just a weird gameplan, or ... ?

It's game planning. Essentially, what you could be facing is someone whom has different QBs over-rided into certain sets to divide out the reps.

There's more involved, however, it's not a glitch.

The next version will address this and make it less effective. I hope to release the next version in the next week or two. (Leagues will not change to the next version in midseason, as leagues finish their seasons they will roll into the new code after it has been released)

Which league? Because I had something very similar. Pre season game and I have QB 1 set to start QTR 1 and 2, but QB2 rotated in quite often.
Definitely not my game plan

If a team want's to run a two QB system, should they be "punished" or have rules/AI adjustments set against them ? What happens if I have 2 80+ QB's and both do equally well, can I not play both as I see fit ?

Both in MFN-85.

I remember the 49ers did it a little for real with Smith and Kaep', it was useless because when Kaep came on the field we all knew what the 49ers were going to try...

There is an other problem with the fact that teams can have so many great players, it's about the contract. It's very very very easy to sign a great player for a not expensive contract, my QB that is one of the best in the league only play for 5 555 000$/year... It's very cheap.

Good for you. But I have to think if you are going to apply some reduced effectiveness for one position, then you'd imagine it should be spread across the team depth chart as a whole. For example, if I run the ball 65% of the time, should the changes that JDB is proposing to implement effect mt #2 RB ? If not, why not ?

Cuz teams use 2 rbs all the time. No one really uses 2 qb system. The change is a good one imo

There's a reason that NFL teams don't do QB by committee, and it mostly has to do with rhythm and chemistry. The changes being implemented simulate the 'warm up' time a QB coming in off the bench must go through before hitting his stride.
