Idk if I'm the only one, but If i were an NFL or NCAA coach irl, there are a few situations where I would not even bother with designating a return man. If my opponent is punting from inside his own 20, I'm sending all eleven. If they miss the block and I get no return, I still probably have decent field position.
I know there are inherent risks there and wouldn't do it in every situation regarding score, but I see nothing wrong with taking such a calculated risk in a video game.

I think a big problem you will have there is 11 guys NOT roughing the kicker and getting the penalty if they get through. Also if you stack the line with the 11, leaving the sidelines open I'm pretty sure every kicker can lob it to a guy 20 yards wide open lol.

100% true. It's also something your opponent could gameplan for and use it against you if you use it too often irl. There are ways to cover more safely than sending all 11 in an all out blitz, but you get the idea, right? In these situations, I'm more focused on the block than the return because of field position.
But in a video game...

I was literally just thinking about editing my response to include this would work at least the first time most likely, maybe leave a guy back to run down anyone if they see the blitz and throw it, so send 10 maybe if they are backed up inside the 10 yards line, ish.

I've wondered why they don't try and have a safety get a running start, and then have a heavy LB ducked down and sort of "leap frog lift" the safety up high AF for a block attempt, especially on extra points. Maybe its the possible collision coming down? It would be so awesome though lol.

Yeah, if the punter is in the endzone and cant back up as far as he'd like, he's in trouble. We coming

There's actually a rule against that

Leapfrogging? Yeah there would have to be lol. I want to see a Harlem Globetrotters style play with a smaller DB flying over the line to slap a ball out of the air. The announcers are like, ??? lol

maybe we shouldn't hijack this thread. =(

I also wondered why players didn't do that to block field goals until I saw it happen once and he got a flag/penalty for it.

Indeed.

And I personally think, that every time I have to use rules or overrides because of a special situation, it's basically a flaw in the game.

I'm just trying to get my team playing as well as possible while basically using next to zero rules and overrides. I have some, but they're selfexplanatory, like always defending the pass when there's no RB on the field.
